We use the WhatsApp Business Platform, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Meta"), to communicate with customers and prospective customers — for example, responding to enquiries, sending order or project updates, appointment reminders, and support messages.
What we collect through WhatsApp: your WhatsApp phone number, WhatsApp display name and profile information you've made available, the content of messages and attachments you send us, and message metadata such as timestamps and delivery/read status.
Who processes it: this data is processed both by Infovirtech and by Meta as the platform provider. Meta processes it in accordance with its own WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and Meta Privacy Policy, which govern how Meta handles data on its platform independently of Infovirtech.
You can stop receiving WhatsApp messages from us at any time by replying "STOP," blocking our business number directly in WhatsApp, or emailing privacy@infovirtech.com. Blocking or opting out does not delete messages already exchanged; see Data Retention below for how long we keep that history.
Our use of the WhatsApp Business Platform is subject to Meta's Platform Terms in addition to this policy. Where Meta's terms and this policy address the same data, Meta's terms govern how Meta itself handles that data on its infrastructure.
